Kathleen is a freelance designer and embroiderer who produces a wide range of textile works, ranging from piecing, patching, overlaying and painted surfaces which she uses as backgrounds and collages to develop stitched pieces for small and larger project. In this class we will be working with solu fleece water soluble to create a mesh fabric with yarns, thread and fibres all held together with machine embroidery stitching. This fabric can be made in colours to represent that classic Monets garden look or you may wish to create a sea theme or seansonal colour scheme. One made we will layer your fabric onto stiff felt and create a stunning textural purse. Please ring to book your place.
