Embroidery is a delicate, intricate craft and one loved by many of our customers across Ellington. We have a delightful range of hand dyed silks, Perle 8’s and 12’s in single and variegated colours by Chameleon Threads to help you decorate your fabric and execute your design beautifully.
Additionally, we have the full range of DMC stranded cotton embroidery threads and various counts of Aida cloth, a cross stitch fabric which can enable you to follow specific patterns easily. For those new to the world of embroidery, sewing and patchwork, we have a small range of kits available along with books to enjoy as you work through your creation.
Experienced embroiderer or new beginner?
Embroidery has become more and more popular here at Bee Crafty, allowing us to run regular hand embroidery classes covering a range of techniques from goldwork and stumpwork to blackwork embroidery. Our regular hand embroidery club, which meets once a month at our shop in Ellington, is also available for like-minded embroiderers looking for an opportunity to complete all their unfinished projects in a dedicated space.
